One week of the new year, and already they're asking me to do something new.
Specifically, a "technique".
I've been photographing regularly for 9 years, week after week, sometimes day after day, have I done it all?
What technique haven't I tried? More to the point, what exactly is a photographic technique.
While I'm worrying about that, I'm also worrying about the fact that I've had an entire week off since the start of 2024 and haven't yet photographed a single model. I did my own self-portrait for the start of the year, per usual, but haven't yet connected with anyone else to do anything else - meaning I haven't started that "Humans of San Diego" type project I vowed to start.
Ah well, 1 down, 51 to go…
