The theme for the week is Nature.
NATURE.
So naturally my mind goes to a nude model in a jungle setting.
Right, so where can I find either?
Is this why Mapplethorpe basically had two types of photographs: nudes and flowers? When he couldn't find a model, he used flora instead?
And the only two places I can think of that are safe to get nude in "nature" are Black's Beach and that spot behind the Graffiti Tunnels near the mall.
I've shot at the tunnels quite a few times, I'd like to find something new.
But Black's…. erm… after last time? I don't think I'm ready to give it a second go.
One broken foot is enough for me, thanks.
So I'll probably ending up doing another study of a flower. How can I make it more original? Gonna have to find a way. I don't feel like I'm pushing myself if I just do another low-key back-lit floral study.
But maybe I'll find that adventurous model who wants to strip down in the woods somewhere and by my little nymph.
