This week's challenge is to go somewhere or do something that hasn't yet been explored.
It could be a literal location or a figurative idea: something I haven't explored in the field of photography, for example.
I'm not saying I've done it ALL, but after 10 years of annual challenges, I've pretty much explored everything I know about that I wanted to explore.
If I haven't yet explored it, maybe I didn't want to. Astrophotography, for example.
Sitting out in the desert all night with my camera set up with an intervalometer to capture the milky way in the distance… nope.
Let others do that and I can look at their pretty pictures and say, "Cool."
But it's not what I want to explore.
So my first thought is looking at the Hidden San Diego site to see what there is that I'd be interested in photographing.
My next thought is going back to Marshal Scotty's Playland and pretending I haven't explored it before.
