t in some pics to 500px this week. And I already got news that one of them is shortlisted for one of their "Quests". These are photo challenges with cash prizes, apparently.
To celebrate Black History Month, one of their Quests was Diversity in Frame, so I sent in a pic I took of an interracial couple in bed together.
I wasn't feeling like my work belonged on 500px because the first day I joined and uploaded some pics, I received one comment: "Gross". It was a photo of an interracial couple in bed.
Go figure.
But now I'm one of 22 photographers short listed for this $500 prize.
Fingers crossed.
