My work explores the relationship between consumerist fetishism and copycat violence. With influences as diverse as Rousseau and L Ron Hubbard, new synergies are created from both constructed and discovered discourse.
Ever since I was a postgraduate I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of meaning. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corrupted into a manifesto of futility, leaving only a sense of dread and the possibility of a new beginning.
As shifting derivatives become clarified through boundaried and critical practice, the viewer is left with a tribute to the possibilities of our culture.
